Jacksonville Zoo

Sunday we had the great opportunity to take a trip to the Jacksonville Zoo. It was me, mommy, daddy, Sierra, Ms Heather, and Mr Matt. We left the house at 7 am and got to the zoo around 10 ish. There were a ton of animals, a stingray bay, a carousel, a splash water park, and a train. Mommy and I touched a stingray. I was fine with them until they splashed and then I wanted nothing to do with them. Plus I got to play in the splash park because it turned out to be a beautiful day. We had lunch at Trout River Grill inside the park, we rode the carousel (rode on a Lion), I got to fed the boy giraffe named Duke (he was 14 ft tall), and last but not least we rode the train. The trip home took a little longer because the daddy's wanted to stop at Gander Mnt to shop for a min then we had dinner at chili's. And thank goodness we did because traffic was horrible and we didn't get home until after 10pm. It was so much fun...I have pics of me at the zoo when I was one but I didn't remember a whole lot. Mommy will try to start blogging a little more again. We have been a little off track. Oh and Saturday is the Biggest Easter Egg Hunt again and I am meeting my friends there!! Yippee!!!

Growing Up Fast

This weekend I had a good time fishing with Sierra and our families. If the weather stays nice this weekend we are going to try to go to the zoo. We will try our best to take way too many pictures. I am very excited since I haven't been since I was a year old and I don't remember much from then. And as many of you know my mommy is obsessed with me getting birthday pictures taken. So this year she got them a little early since there was an awesome coupon in her email. Here are a few of me and Sierra fishing...the HUGE catfish at bass pro shop...and of course a sneak peak at the new birthday pic. Hope you all enjoy!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!!!

I have been really into Pinocchio lately. There have been commercials on TV, the DVD has been in stores and it looked really cool. Mommy and Daddy said he happened to be Grandma's favorite so I thought maybe I would give a call and she might get the DVD for me. So I called and talked to her for a while on the phone and asked for Pinocchio. Well I got a HUGE package in the mail!!! It was the DVD with Jiminy Cricket, a Pinocchio, a book, and MONSTER TRUCK pajamas. The package came yesterday and I have already watched the movie 2 times and read the book. It's a very cool movie!! THANK YOU SO MUCH GRANDMA AND GRANDPA!!!

Cookies and Friends

Saturday the Daddy's had to run to Savannah so Sierra stayed at my house with me and my mommy. I had got a new cookie cutter set. It's a 3 piece train set. So she and I got to make a train cookies and cookies for St.Patrick's Day. Mommy let us paint the cookie trains and we had so much fun. The when the Daddy's got home we went fishing!!! No one caught anything but it sure was fun to spent time with them.

Horses!

I know it's been way too long since I was last on here but a lot has been going on. So to start off...last week while in Savannah the Budweiser Clydesdale's showed up at Bass Pro Shop. They were very nice and let everyone take their picture. I love to look at horses.

Craft Night - Leprechaun

Tonight Sierra hosted craft night at her house. Her mommy found a really cool Leprechaun for us to make. Well the mommies had a lot of work to do on them too but Sierra and I glued and painted. Isn't he a really nice Leprechaun?!?! He's pretty BIG too. Now we have to make up some cookies and we also might try to go to the parade this weekend or Monday in Savannah. Mommy and Daddy have lived here for 8 yrs and have never gone. I will let you know if we decide to go and we will take pics if we do. Good Night everyone.

The Letter M

As some of you may know... a month or so ago my mommy taught me to spell my name to the tune of BINGO. Well now I am trying to write it also. Saturday when I was in Mrs Heather's jeep, I was writing on a notepad and informed my mommy that I had wrote the letter M. She turned around and there it was. Well you know her, she had to get a picture of it to share with everyone so here it is. Only 4 more letters to go and I will have it down.

Summer???

The weather is beautiful here today. It's in the high 70's with light wind. Tomorrow even warmer!!! We are just hoping it stays around and another cold front doesn't come this way. I love playing outside in my sandbox and water table. I have even filled up my pool just in case it gets really hot so I can take a quick swim tomorrow! It's March in the south for goodness sake. Not much is going on here this weekend. My Daddy and Matt went fishing on a lake yesterday but didn't catch anything but a nice sunburn. I got to hang out with my mommy, Sierra, and her mommy. We went to yard sales and I got a cart to go on Daddy's like when he goes for BIG rides. And Sierra got a big girl bike. So when she gets the hang of riding it we can go on really fast bike rides!Today both daddy's went to the boat show so me and my mommy snuck off to the library. I love it there; I can spend all day there reading books, coloring, and playing games on the computer. Then at 6 we have dinner at Sierra's house. Her mommy is cooking a turkey. So I hope everyone else is having a beautiful fun filled weekend too.

Always in Our Hearts

Two years ago today my Poppy Buck passed away. I was teeny tiny when it happened but he means so much to me. My name is Miles Whitley...My Poppy was Ballard Whitley; But everyone called him Buck. We love him so very much and Mommy talks about how much he loved all of us. I only got to see him one time but Mommy and Daddy were sure to capture as much as possible in that short time. His picture sits beside my bed and I talk about him pretty often. Sometimes out of nowhere I will say something about "Poppy". Mommy takes that as her cue that he watches over us and is still loving us no matter what. She misses him more today than usual. She still remembers the call that night from Aunt Jaime. But she will keep his memories alive for me to grow up with.

Thanks Pawpaw

My pawpaw got me a really cool fishing rod when he was here last...and I love it. It's my first official big boy rod. I can cast just like my daddy. Daddy even let me use a shiny thing to fish with so I can cast and reel. We still haven't caught anything lately but it sure is fun spending time with him. Today is Friday and we all went to The Sandbox. Sierra and I made a Leprechaun there and then we went to eat at IHOP. That's all that is going on now except my NanNan had surgery on her knee. Just asking if you can keep her in your prayers right now. Talk to ya soon.

Thanks Aunt Jaime and Uncle Brenen

I love my Harley girl!! And she finally loves me too!!

Today I got mail!!! My Uncle Brenen and Aunt Jaime bought me a shirt for Valentine's Day! It was Curious George and I had to put it on for the rest of the day after I opened it. So Thank you all very much, I love you and miss you! Not a lot else going on around here. It's cold again; YUCK! There is some good news. My daddy and Mr.Matt (Sierra's daddy) caught fish on Sunday! Maybe they are finally biting again and I can get out there this weekend and catch me one. I also got my pic done again this year at Springtime in the South. Hope you enjoy these few pics.
