Look at me

So tomorrow is my ACTUAL birthday...but Daddy turned my car seat around last night. Its kinda fun to look out the front window. Daddy is sitting in the front seat again so I do miss him being in the back with me. But as you can see it is still a very comfortable seat. I am a little off schedule from playing so hard this weekend. The pics of me and Daddy are from last weekend. We love to play at the playground.

Birthday Party Weekend

Friday my family got to the house after I was already asleep. So first thing Saturday morning, we got up and went to the beach. We played hard for about 2 hours and then we had to go get Daddy's car and get ready for my birthday party. We ran to the house after dropping daddy off and jumped in the bathtub. I got dressed and out the door we went. I had a lot of friends show up for my party and I got some really cool stuff. Nana and Pawpaw got me a HUGE Geotrak train set and mommy and daddy got me more trains and stuff for it. I got a ball that is bigger than me, Thomas the tank engine pull along, books, a baseball toy that make noise,a hippo ball pit and some beach toys. I ate my pizza like a big boy and then I dug into the cake. I played with it a little but I wanted to use my fork and everyone couldn't believe I was using a fork. Uncle Brenen and Aunt Jaime took me shopping at Toys R Us and I got a wagon with an umbrella. We used it Sunday when we went to the zoo. I didn't get a lot of pics at my party but I have videos. Daddy will have to post one of those tonight.

My Cake

Daddy picked up my cake today from this very talented lady in Savannah. We got in touch with her through our friends Candace and Chris, she actually made the cake for their little girl Anna. She gave us some ideas to look at and she went above and beyond to make it look a billion times better than any pics we saw on the Internet. I love Curious George and that is going to be the theme of my party tomorrow so here is my George Cake. I couldn't wait to show everyone. It looks perfect and smells so so good.

Friday!!!

Its been a very long week. I have a diaper rash, its my first one ever. Mommy is trying everything she can to get it cleared up fast. I have been naked more this week than ever before. She said the air will help my bottom, I just think its fun to be naked. Today my Uncle Brenen, Aunt Jaime, Brett, and Megan are coming to spend the weekend with us. I can't wait to see them although I will probably be asleep when they get here. Tomorrow is my birthday party and today Daddy is picking up my cake. I bet its going to taste so good. I will have to post some pics of the party tomorrow. I have to run for now. But speaking of running...Daddy is going to put together a DVD soon and it has me walking in it :o)

Birthday Pictures

This was taken last night at La Hacienda, out favorite Mexican restaurant. I love me some Quesadilla.

So today is Saturday and mommy wanted to take me to get my Birthday pictures taken. I was a very good sport and let her get them taken at 2 different places. I wore my shorts, flip flops, white dress shirt, tie, and hat like Poppy Buck always wore. Everyone couldn't believe how cute I was. The people taking my pic at Olan Mills just gushed all over me. That was the first place we went and they took a tons of pics. Then we went to WalMart and that lady had to take 7 poses. I was bored after the first couple so Mommy only wanted the first one anyway so we rushed through the rest so I could get back into my comfy clothes. The second pic was of me at Burger King today before pictures because Mommy knew my tummy had to be full to keep me happy.

Eating like a Big Boy

These are of me being silly one night when I was eating my Gerber Graduates and playing with the lid.

There isn't a lot going on right now but I thought you all might like some pics of me. One of my favorite foods is spaghetti. When I eat it I get to go straight from my high chair to the bath tub. I like to feed myself now, I only need a little help with a spoon or fork. I will try to get pics of me on my new bike soon.

Happy Mother's Day

This weekend was all for Mommy...I had already painted her a picture but at school we got to make more stuff. I used paint and my feet to make mommy a butterfly. Well you would have thought I had saved the world...she just loved it and talks about it all the time. It's going to be framed and hung up on the wall she said. On Saturday Daddy and I took her shopping for a new diaper bag, it was a hard decision but she found one she loved so that is what daddy got her. Then we went to toys r us and I got a bike. I have my daddy wrapped around my little fingers. Its a big boy bike that I have to learn to peddle but its also fun to just push around. Sunday we went for breakfast and then to Beaufort, we played on the play ground and then daddy took mommy to get ice cream at a place he took her last year. It was a lot of fun and I fed myself my favorite...mint choc chip. I will post pictures later.

Growing up

I am growing up according to everyone around me. I am almost walking and getting rid of my bottle soon. Last night I didn't even take a bottle to go to sleep. I had milk in my cup and brushed my teeth before bed. Which by the way, I have another top tooth through the skin. Bringing my total up to 5. I am having a pizza party on May 26th and it is going to be so much fun. I also get to have another little cake on my actual birthday with mommy and daddy at home. We are going to try to get back to WV to see my NanNan, Nana, and PawPaw in June. I am still not liking mommy leaving me at school in the mornings but I like to play with the other kids there once she is gone. Its almost the weekend :o) which we love and its Mother's Day Sunday. I almost forgot to tell you the BIGGEST NEWS... Now that my tooth is through the skin, I slept through the night without waking up at all. Mommy and Daddy were so happy.

11 months old

I am officially 11 months old. In only a few weeks I will be having a Birthday Party...I can't wait. Mommy is still trying to make arrangements for it.

We had a pretty good weekend, mommy was still a little sick on Saturday but getting better. We didnt do a whole lot this weekend. Mother's Day is coming up soon and all Mommy has asked for is a painting by me so she and I worked on it Sunday. We got paint all over us but it was a lot of fun.

Can you believe people painted these pictures with sidewalk chalk??? They did really good. We actually got to see some of them working on their art and boy did it look messy...I am going to have to play with that stuff soon.


Here is a picture Mommy took of me Friday after school. I was so tired I had to take a nap. But the real reason for the pic is that Mommy wanted everyone to see just how much I am grown. I am almost as long as my pack n play.

Pink eye

So I went to the Dr and he said I have pink eye. Mommy has to put drops in my eyes 3 times a day. I am not very happy with this arrangement. But I didn't go to school Tuesday either, see mommy and daddy got a 24 hr stomach bug. It was horrible. I was perfect according to daddy and mommy since I entertained myself most of the day and took a really long nap with mommy on the couch. I still didn't feel good so I wanted mommy even when she was sick. I am not sure how much help it was but I keep unrolling the toilet paper every time I got in the bathroom. That is so much fun. I also got to play in my pj's until around dinner time. i have never done that before. Mommy said she just didn't have the energy to keep me still long enough to change my clothes. Today I am back in daycare and two of my little friends are now in the bigger class. oh well I guess I will have 2 new people to play with. We will post pictures as soon as mommy is feeling a little better, she is still not back to normal.
