Baby's 1st Christmas

I had my first Christmas and it was a blast. We got up early Monday and sat around the tree to unwrap presents. Mommy would hand them to me and I would do my best to pull the paper off. I got lots of toys, books, and clothes. Daddy took a lot of pics, we will try to get some on here tomorrow. Then we talked to Nana and Papaw on the phone to wish them a Merry Christmas. We also talked to Uncle Brenen and Aunt Jaime. Later in the afternoon we talked to Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Chris and Aunt Kathleen. They were all in Texas so we had to wait a little longer to talk to them because of the time difference. I think everyone had a great time. Today I get to play with Daddy all day until Mommy gets home. I had another bad night of sleep because my teeth hurt. I finally have two on the bottom but the two at the top are being mean and stubborn.

4 more nights

We are only 4 nights away from Christmas. Mommy had to work today so I am staying with Ms.Marie. But tomorrow I am back with mommy at work for 1/2 day. I can't wait to open presents. Daddy wants to open them already but mommy said we have to wait and see if Santa brings more before we can open them. I will post pics just as soon as I can. Right now we all have a cough and now my little nose is starting to get a little runny. Mommy said if it doesn't clear up I might have to see the Dr again. We think I will be OK though. Next week I get to spend time with my daddy. He is so much fun and is teaching me how to walk. I have always loved to stand and now if he holds my hands I will take a few steps. Just cant seem to get the balance thing under control yet. Well I have to run so I will write again soon.

Vacation Time??

Well it seems as though my mommy and daddy have some time off they need to take before the end of the year.So, I will only be in daycare with Ms.Marie one more day until the new year starts. Mommy isn't working 3 1/2 days next week. Then Daddy gets the whole last week of the year off. I sure am going to miss all my friends but spending time with mommy and daddy is the best. Only 10 more days and I get to open the presents that are under the tree. Ebony checks them out every night to see if she has something under there to eat. I give her some of my puffs when I am eating dinner with mommy and daddy. There are 3 different flavors that I have, sweet potato, sweet corn, and banana. I also have freeze dried fruit too and I like all of it. Veggies are my favorite, I wont eat stuff unless it tastes good to me and if I don't like it, I just spit it back out. Mommy thought I would like this chicken noodle baby food, but I hate it. I tried it one time and that was enough for me. We had to through it out. Now we only get the ones they know I really like.

WHO'S THAT MAN?

Well its Santa!! I finally got to meet this man everyone keeps talking about. He was really nice and had a big white beard that I kept playing with. A lot of little kids at mommy's work came by to meet him too. He came all the way to her office in Hilton Head, SC from the North Pole. He said the weather here is a whole lot nicer than he is used to. After we spent some time with him, we went back to our house to get ready for a Christmas Party for mommy's work. I wore my new sweater with matching hat and was the star of the show( first picture). I was such a good boy, I ate some mashed potatoes off of mommy and daddys plate then took a little nap. After the party and took another nap on the way home so we could party all night. Well not really but I did manage to keep daddy and mommy up until a little after midnight. Sunday we went to a park in savannah and took pics for our chirstmas cards...keep an eye out for those, they are getting mailed this week. Everyone thinks I am just so handsome and a big boy becuase I can sit up on my own now. Just wait until I can figure this crawling stuff out.

6 months old pic

Well this is my official 6 month old pic in my cool high chair. Last night I sat in the kitchen in my chair wearing only a diaper and mommy & daddy let me feed myself lasagna, boy was it good. Mommy took me straight to the tub, I guess she thought I was a little messy :o)

I'm growing up FAST!

Friday I was such a big boy when I got my shots, I barely even cried. It was a yucky rainy day out but the Dr said I am right on track. I am 20 lbs 1 oz and 27 inches long. Plus I get to eat table food that is squishy. This weekend I tried lo mein noodles off of daddys plate and the middle of french fries. We went to Beaufort this weekend to get mommys christmas present and I got to sit on a fire truck and I got a balloon. They were both so much fun. Then on sunday I got to spend some time with our friends Candace and Anna at the mall doing more christmas shopping. Anna is such a big girl, she can push her stroller if she doesnt want to ride in it (she still needs a little help from her mommy though). Only 3 more weeks until Christmas. I cant wait plus I get to spend a week with my daddy while hes at home.

SHOTS AGAIN!!

I am officially 6 months old as of yesterday. My mommy and daddy just can't believe that time has went so fast. I do new things everyday but still can't get my teeth to come out or crawl. Daddy works with me almost every night on the crawling and I chew on everything. I am at work today with mommy since I have those NASTY shots again today. They are all nice to me at the Dr office then the nurse hurts me with the shots. Mommy doesn't like them either because I cry really bad and hold my breath. Daddy refuses to go with me to get them, he's puddy in my hands and couldn't handle it. After the shock wears off I am usually fine. I have been a good boy at night again and sleep all the way until time to wake up in the morning. Well I am going to let mommy get some work done so we can leave early today.

Sleepy!

Well I guess being tired finally caught up with me. I had been keeping my mommy up some over the last week but I finally got some good sleep last night. Mommy fed me some beef and veggies while daddy talked to Uncle Chris on the phone and I got so full I didn't even want a bottle before bed. My entire face was completely orange when I went to get a bath. Daddy and Mommy let me see myself in the mirror and I laughed it was so funny. But after my bath, I got in my jammies and fell right asleep in my swing. Mommy fell asleep on the couch and Daddy had to wake her up so we could all go to bed. I slept all the way until it was time to get up for work. They hope I am back to my normal sleeping habits now....but only time will tell :o)

Busy Busy Busy

Sorry I didnt get to write last week. I had a lot of fun with my grandma and grandpa weekend before last and then my nana and papaw came to visit me for Thanksgiving. There was a lot of food on the table for Thanksgiving dinner, and I ate turkey and sweet potatoes (baby food) and for desert I had banana pudding. Saturday night mommy and daddy put up our Christmas tree. Its so pretty, I love to just look at the lights. I also got a stocking with my name on it for santa to put a gift in. I will try to post a picture of me and the tree and maybe one with the girls too. I will keep everyone updated better now that mommy & daddy are back to work and I am back at dayschool.

Counting down the days...

Only one more day at daycare this week and I am with my mommy for 10 whole days. Daddy has to work a little late tonight so mommy and I have more housework to get done and give the girls a bath. I love the girls, Harley is a shih tzu and she mainly ignores me except when i am eating and Ebony is a boston terrier and she is my best friend in the whole world. She lets me play with her all the time. Grandma & Grandpa Frye are coming to see me on Thursday and staying with us until Sunday. I haven't seen them in a while so they are not going to believe how big i have grown in these last few months. I will post some pics of the visit probably on Monday when mommy has to come into work for a meeting. Ms.Kathy is going to watch me at the office while mommy is in the meeting. She thinks i am the cutest boy around. She just got to be a grandma to a little girl named Hailey. Talk to ya later.

Wow, what a weekend!!

Friday was so much fun. Daddy loved his Bluetooth Headphones that we bought him. Saturday night we went to a party at Sue & Deans' house. It was fun but I played shy and made mommy and daddy hold me a lot. Then Sunday mommy went to Christmas made in the South with Sue and I got to spend a few hours with daddy all to myself. Boy did I give him a run for his money. I think I wore him out. When mommy got home we went to Savannah to do some Christmas Shopping. I don't really know what Christmas is but it sounds like a lot of fun. Mommy and Daddy have a book to explain it to me and they said you get presents. I have already helped wrap things and paper and ribbons are so much fun.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Today is Friday and I can't wait to spend the weekend with my daddy and mommy. Today is Daddy's 30th birthday and we got him a present to open. I think he will like it a lot. We get to go to dinner too. I love my daddy so so much. Here is a picture mommy took of me and him last Saturday.
