Sidewalk Chalk

There are many talented people who attend SCAD Savannah College of Art and Design. Today we went back to Forsyth Park to see the Sidewalk Chalk Festival from yesterday. Most of them were still very nice and WOW were they good. I rode in my stroller while we walked around and checked them all out. There was also so reenactment going on and they were shooting canons and I didn't like them at all but in the end I was able to play on the playground for a few minutes. The only problem with the playground is it's in direct sun and well it was 85 degrees today. But afterwards we went to lunch at Mellow Mushroom and off to a few stores. All in all it was a pretty good day but I am completely pooped out now.

Movie in the Park

Tonight we attended our first Movie in the Park. It was a really good time. We watched Finding Nemo!! There really aren't any good pics from it because it was dark and well flash can't reach that far...But I will attach a few of us sitting around waiting. I was a very good boy most of the time. Then close to the very end we saw some fireworks in the distance and I don't like them at all so I hid for a while snuggled up to my mommy. I even changed into my pajamas there so I could sleep on the way home. It wasn't over until 10pm and that's a little past my bedtime...But it sure feels like summer is on it's way. Night Night

Strawberry Patch

This morning we got up and went to St.Helena Island to Dempsey Farms to pick strawberries. I remembered picking them last year so I was very excited to go back. I walked right up to the stand and the lady gave me a bucket and off I went. We each filled our own buckets and tried to get the biggest reddest ones we could find. It was pretty hot out and quite a few other people, but there were plenty of strawberries for everyone. Heather and Sierra had been there right before us and got 11 lbs. We ended up with 9 1/2 lbs total between the 3 of us. So tomorrow mommy is trying her hand at freezer jam making. But we get to eat some of them too and if we eat them all we will just have to go back and pick more. Hope you enjoy the pics of me there. Oh and tonight we are going to Forsyth Park in Savannah for Movie in the Park night. They are playing Finding Nemo on a screen in the open field. Hope I can stay awake but if not I will be sure to take my blanket.

My First Bike Boo Boo

Well the training wheels are still off and I am still riding my bike like crazy. I did get my first boo boo though. After riding around in circles trying to ride over the bumpity (reflector) in the rode, I got into a little sand on the edge and over I went. I scuffed up my elbow and knee a little. But I got right back on after my momma snuggled me a little. The whole neighborhood is talking about what a big boy I am. My daddy couldn't be anymore proud of me that's for sure. And my momma is proud but still scare,lol.

Changes

There have been a lot of changes going on in our lives that we haven't been talking about. My mommy was laid off in Nov and my daddy was laid off in Dec. I left school back in January and we worked together at getting new jobs and keeping our lives in order. Well thank the Lord, mommy was able to get a job a while back at CVS and this week my daddy started a new job also. Mommy is going to have to change schedules at CVS if that's possible so she can stay home with me because daycare isn't an option at this time. It seems like a lot to take in but I have been taking it in stride and it has really brought even more love and understanding into our house. I am just asking for everyone who already knew about it all to keep praying and those who didn't to say a little one for us if you can...Love, Miles

West Virginia Here We Come

Today mommy and I are heading to WV to see Nana and Pawpaw. We are riding up with Ms Heather and Sierra. It's going to be a really long drive but we will have so much fun. See ya soon guys...And Daddy we love you and will miss you so so much!!!

Happy Easter!!!

Guess what!!! The Easter bunny came to my house last night. I left him a cookie and egg for him and he left me all kinds of goodies. Not only that but he hid eggs all around the outside of my house!!! I had to go find them. Me, mommy, and daddy all had a great day. After we got up and running this morning we had lunch, went shopping (I got chutes and ladders...and i won!!), and then back home for a nap. After that we took my bike to the school to try to ride without training wheels. That is pretty hard work and it will take some time but eventually I will get it. Hope you all enjoy the pictures.

Easter Egg Hunt and Crafts

Today was a very full day... it started off with an Easter Egg Hunt at the high school given by Lowcountry Church. It was so much fun too. I planned out how to get the most eggs by running to the middle of the field while everyone else got the ones around the edge first. The eggs were filled with candy and it was yummy. After the egg hunt me, mommy, Sierra, and her mommy all went to Bass Pro Shop to see the Easter Bunny. Well when we got there they were having an egg hunt in the store...you find 5 eggs and you get to spin a wheel and get a prize. I found an egg with a star on it so I got two prizes, a foam fish and a bass pro cup. We also got to make bunny ears and a picture with the Easter Bunny. Sierra and I were both scared of him. While at the mall we also went to A.C. Moore and got to make another craft...it was an Easter bag we painted with peeps. And last but not least when we got home, Mommy and I hung eggs on the tree...isn't it cool???!!!

I got a care package in the mail from Nana and Pawpaw with my Easter stuff in it. I got new pajamas, a shirt with a train in it, pair of shorts, puzzles, candy, jelly beans, fire truck, a new movie, peeps, farm animals and a book. Bolt is a really cool movie and I have watched it a few times already. Thank you both so much!! I love you and miss you!
