Just checking in

Today is my last day of school for the week. Tomorrow I have to see the Dr for my check-up and get some icky shots. Mommy said they are going to do something new which I am not looking forward too. Why would they want some of my blood? If its in my body it probably needs to be there so I don't want to share any with them. Anyway I am sure it will hurt and I will cry, but afterward I might get a special treat when we go see Daddy at lunch for his LAST DAY of work in Savannah. He has some really cool friends we will miss talking to all the time, but we will still see them and hang out together sometimes. We are really excited for Daddy to work in Bluffton though. He will get home faster so we can have more time together...YIPPEE!!!! Plus I will get to ride in his sweet car more often. Mommy's truck is OK but boy does Daddy's car sound good. I am the coolest kid ever showing up in his ride. Well I have more playing to do so I will let you know how tomorrow goes. Bye-Bye

It's been a whole week...

and nothing new or exciting has happened here. Last week was kinda stressful around our house. Daddy went on a job interview and they offered him job as project manager at a firm in Bluffton...so I guess we did have some excitement. He starts his new job on September 4th the same day Mommy starts her class. She is going back to school for her PHR certificate. That means Professional in Human Resources. Its going to be a change for Daddy for 12 weeks to get me fed and in bed all by himself so say a little prayer for us. Lucky for him it only on Mondays. Sometimes I like to get cranky before I go to sleep. Since its been so long since I was on here I thought I should show you how much I have grown. I love boxes and I love them even more when Daddy pulls me around in them. I have so much fun with all my toys and I love my Ebony girl.

My 1st Hair Cut!!

Today is Saturday!!! I love this day because I get to spend all day with Mommy and Daddy. This morning we headed out to get what Daddy said was a "hair cut". I have never had one of those before so I didn't care either way. Well this lady wanted me to sit in a chair with this cape on while she messed with my hair. I decided Mommy was going to have to hold me if this was going to work. Well all in all it wasn't bad, I didn't cry and it was actually kinda fun having that comb run through my hair. No one thought I had so much but I got a lot cut off.

It's been a few days since we have been on here. So I thought you might like some new pics of me. This first one is of me and Daddy. My shirt says Small Fry. The others are just ones that Mommy thought was cute. I have learned to blow kisses. There are some big changes going on around here...Mommy thinks I have had my pacifier long enough. I used to still get it when I was sleeping in my crib. But I haven't wanted it too much so Saturday night she decided I couldn't get it anymore.I am not very happy with this arrangement and when I wake up in the middle of the night I let it be known. I guess I will make it through. Hope everyone is doing good.

It's been a long time...

Can you believe it's been almost a week since Mommy posted on my blog for me. I will give her some slack since she has been sick and I haven't been feeling all that great either. Pretty much all last week was pretty hard on us both. I went back to school as normal on Friday but Mommy ended up seeing the DR so she actually picked me up about an hour early. Thank goodness they said she didn't have Strep throat. I really don't know what it is but Mommy kept saying how bad her throat hurt. Daddy worked a little on Saturday since we had to be in Savannah anyway for Anna's 2nd birthday party. Can you believe she is a whole 2 yrs old? She got some really cool toys and shared them at her party. The party was at Chic-fil-a, we had lunch and cake. It was a really good cake to. Plus she gave us goodie bags for being there. I am posting a pic of me with my fishy cup with crazy straw she had in the bag. There were cookies (ate those as soon a I got home)& sidewalk chalk too. Just wanted to say "Thank you Anna for the goodie bag".

I don't feel so good...

So on Tuesday at school they had spaghetti and its my favorite. I usually eat two helpings of it but I didn't even eat one. I cried most of the day and wanted to be held. I just didn't feel good. On Wednesday I wasn't feeling good again so Ms Judy in the office called mommy to see if maybe I was teething. Well I am but I also just didn't feel good. So mommy said she would come get me. We had to go back to work for a few hours to let mommy finish up some stuff then we came home. Today is Thursday and had a really bad night. I am all stuffy, coughing, warm, teething, and just plain icky feeling. So we had to run to work for about 2 hrs then mommy and I have been at home ever since. I got a good almost 2 hr nap this morning and woke up feeling much better. But I am getting tired again so I might have to take another nap before daddy gets here so we can play tonight. Keep your fingers crossed that I feel better in the morning.
