Memorial Day weekend

There has not been much going on this weekend. Mommy is feeling a better and Daddy's sinus headache is finally gone. Saturday we didn't do much at all. We got Daddy seafood on the island and it rained. Sunday it was nice so I got to play in my pool. Oh and I got a golf club when Mommy and I went out to get cleaning supplies at the Dollar Tree. My Daddy let me use my slide in the pool, it was so much fun. We were all in our bathing suits and just splashed and played. Today is Monday and I didn't have to go to school and Momma and Daddy didn't work. We probably won't do much after nap since the lawn needs mowed and the house cleaned. Everyone is coming to see me soon. Grandma and Grandpa will be here Thursday and Nana and Pawpaw will get here on Friday!!! I can't wait to see everyone.

Feel Better Momma

Daddy bought Mommy these very pretty roses and they made her feel better inside.

Today is Friday and my Momma didn't go to work again. She was in a lot of pain when she woke up this morning. Daddy took me to school and he went to work. He called to check on her at 12:30 and she was still in bed. He was in the driveway because he got off of work early. Momma rested more and ate lunch before they came to get me around 3. We went to the park and played...I love playing. We came back home and fed the girls and Felix (my iguana). After dinner we had to run to walmart and in the parking lot there was a WEE-OO (ambulance) and the men driving it let me look in the back of it. Then they turned on the lights and waved to me as they left. It was another highlight of my day. Oh yeah, Momma had to hold the iguana finally. He climbed down Daddy's back so she HAD to get him before he got loose. He doesn't scare me, I want to pet him and talk to him all the time.

There has been a lot of drama since I was on here Monday. Tuesday I got bit by a bad kid at school. And this made Mommy very upset. She called the school today to "voice her concerns". They have promised to make changes to keep everyone safe. Then last night at around 12:30 Mommy woke up with some pain. She didn't think a whole lot of it but it got progressively worse as the day went on at work. So she called her Dr ...She's got SHINGLES!! She is off of work tomorrow and on antiviral medicine and pain killers so if this sounds weird just remember she had to type for me. But on the good side I thought I would share a few good pics of me from the weekend, hope you enjoy them.

Recap of the weekend

Saturday started out lazy. We had a late night Friday so we didn't even get out of bed until almost 9. Then we headed out to get my birthday present. I have been looking and looking, first I wanted fish, then I wanted turtles, but I finally decided on an IGUANA. Yeah I know Mommy and Daddy are going to have to help with him for a while until I get older but he's so cool. I already love him very much. I check on him when I wake up and tell him night night at bed time. When Daddy holds him, Mommy and I pet him. We got him a little early so he could get used to us before my Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, and Pawpaw get here for my birthday.

Sunday it was super HOT here. It got up to 94 degrees and it was so hot it was hazy. I went for a walk in my wagon after the sun started going down and Elmo and Super Grover went with me. We walked right past the "tree that fell down". That was my first real sentence "Momma, that tree fall down" and last but not least my GIGI. She's the best girl ever. Harley wouldn't pose for a pic, but shes pretty good too.

I can't believe this weekend has been so busy!! I will catch you up soon but Friday started off with pizza at Sierra's house then on to Savannah for the show. We got here a few minutes before it started so we took our pictures in front of the screen. Our tickets were printed at home so we didn't have to wait in any lines. BIG BIRD came on the loud speaker to tell us we had 10 mins before the show started. So when we got to our seats Mommy gave us our gift...we didn't even know we were getting one. It was a SUPER GROVER...see the story was Elmo in Action...Super Grover looses his superness from not staying healthy so the Fabulous Five have to help him get it back. That's Elmo, Telly, Rosita, Zoe, and Rocco (Zoe's Pet Rock). They sang and danced the night away. Boy it was so much fun!!! After the show, I took a nap until we got to Sonic where we had ice cream.

Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday since the weather was supposed to be nicer than Sunday. And good thing we did since we had storms on Sunday. Well it kinda started Friday night, we took Mommy to Cheeburger Cheeburger for dinner. Saturday we played outside and then drove over to Beaufort. We walked around and I played at the playground and got ice cream at Dairy Queen. It was a very nice day and it made Mommy happy. Sunday Daddy gave Mommy a necklace he had made for her from both of us. She loved it!! Not a whole lot else is going on this week. Just getting ready for Sesame Street on Friday night. We can't wait! The Dentist

Today is Friday and my Mommy took me to my very first dentist appointment. She is usually terrified to go but decided to brave it and take me. It was a really cool place. As soon as you walk in the door there is a dinosaur coming out of the wall with a tooth brush in his mouth. There is a BIG tree in the waiting area with a TV in it and there are tree stumps to sit on and watch movies. There is a big kid room with a Wii in it to play. Anyway on with the Dentist part. My Mommy held me and I had to lay onto the Hygienists lap so she could clean my teeth. I wasn't real happy with that arrangement but I made it through. Then I had to do the same with the Dentist who put some fluoride on my teeth. She said I was good to go for another 6 months. No cavities or buildup. I got all kinds of loot too: a tee shirt, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a timer, floss, and a fish, plus I got it all in a very cool plastic bag. After that we went to Mommy's office for a few minutes then we played at the mall and took Daddy to lunch. Hope everyone has a good day.

My Mommy is slacking so bad on helping me with my blog. Friday night we went to the Sandbox again with my friend Sierra and her parents. Afterwards we have a great dinner at Longhorn's on the island. I went right to sleep before we even made it off the island. On Saturday we played at home mostly and Daddy gave me a new slide he had hiding in the attic. Its so much fun. And the weather was finally good enough to play with my water table and my pool. Oh and I got a bubble wand, its awesome. I can't wait for Sierra to come over and play with all my new stuff. She bought me a straw cuppie when she was on her trip to Disney...only 2 more weeks until we go see Sesame Street!!
