Swing!!!

This weekend we went to the park at our house. There is a little play section and it had 2 baby swings in it. I had a lot of fun swinging and making car noises. The picture of me making the funny face is of me making my car sounds. We didn't get to stay out too long because its cold here. There is also a picture of me in my big boy car seat. I just love it. I can see out the window and keep myself occupied. Last night I played with mommy, daddy, and ebony before I had to take a bath. Then we went to my room where daddy took my bed apart and lowered the mattress. Mommy said it was no longer safe for me to sleep in there unless it was lowered. She thought I might fall out since I like to play and crawl around sometimes before falling asleep. I play with my birdie mobile, its fun. After daddy finished he gave me a bottle and mommy fixed it all back so I could sleep like a big boy last night. I just love being in my room with all MY stuff :o)

It's COLD...

I have some big boy pj's that Nana and Papaw bought me and I can finally fit into them. They are really fun to wear around the house to play in. At night its been really cold (30 degrees this morning) so I still have to wear my footie jammies. But my new jammies have dinosaurs on them. The day I opened them in the box I wanted to play with them. Maybe I will grow up playing with dinos, they are really funny looking and big. I was a dragon for Halloween and I picked that outfit out on my own. Mommy wanted me to be a bat but I am a big boy and liked being a dragon better. Bats are too small. The weekend is almost here so I get to spend quality time with mommy and daddy again. I like doing new things so we might see if our park near the pool has some baby swings. If not I am going to have to get one to go in my back yard because we don't have what mommy and daddy call "real parks" here.

CRAWLING

I finally decided I would give this crawling stuff a chance. I started really working on it Friday and by Sunday I could go all the way from my room into Daddy's office. Walking would make me happier but I am still working on my balance. Last night Daddy was a little late so me and mommy were in the living room and I was in the floor in front of the couch and I just turned around and pulled myself right up and just stood there smiling at her. She thought I was brilliant. I then proceeded to tear her catalog apart, she didn't want to order anything anyway. I was really tired and needed to take a nap but I wanted to see daddy so I didn't take a nap at all until I got to play with him for a little while. Its only one more week and I will be 8 months old. I have to start thinking about what kind of birthday party I want...that's what mommy tells me but I don't even know what a birthday is but she also said I get to open more presents like at Christmas and I get to eat cake. Cake is so good, I had some that Kathy made for mommy for her birthday. Anyway about the crawling, mommy will try to get pics of me soon and post them for everyone to see.

Just a Hello...

Here I am being a big boy. I wanted everyone to see how I am growing. The first pic is of me playing with my daddy last night. I am trying my best to pull up on my dinosaur that Santa brought me. Still need a little help though. The other one is me in my highchair/table and chair. I am going to learn to color soon so we had to see if it was a good fit. Ebony is in the picture because she thinks I might drop a puff for her. When I am in my walker in the kitchen I drop all kinds for her. Gotta run, will post more next week. Love you all :o)

LOOK AT ME!

I have so much fun at my house. Mommy was doing laundry the other day and I was fascinated by the clothes hamper. When it was empty I kept pulling it over and laughing at it. So mommy and daddy thought it would be funny to let me play inside of it. They sat me right inside and it was fun. I also like to play with the new vacuum cleaner. We had great weather this weekend, it was almost 80 when we got out of church. I love the weekends because we get to play a lot. Mommy dropped me off with Ms Marie this morning and she went to work and then to the Dr. She and I have a cough and she also has a thing on her eye. The Dr is going to see her again at 2 today to drain it. Doesn't sound like fun to me at all. And I am probably going to see the Dr tomorrow about my cough too since it wont go away with the medicine I am on. I will keep everyone posted about both of our visits.

Work??

I am back at work with mommy today. Yesterday I had an icky tummy at daycare and JoeJoe was really sick and Ms.Marie didnt want me to catch it really bad. So today I am with mommy while her house gets cleaned and disinfected. By the time mommy got there to get me yesterday my ickys were pretty much gone. I am fine now and playing as hard as I can. I am trying to be a really good boy since Wednesdays are the hardest days on mommy. There are tons of toys in my pack n play to keep me busy. Naps dont sound like a good time today so I am trying not to take too many. I finally gave in and took one for about 20 mins for mommy. I will probably be so tired I will have to sleep all the way home though. Later

Hi

Well not much happened this weekend. I spent a lot of time playing with mommy and daddy. On Sunday we went to church again, this time I went to the service and didn't go into nursery. I was a really good boy and kept trying to get the attention for the people beside of us. They were laughing and smiling at me. Church lasts a whole hour and after about 50 mins I was ready to go so daddy had to take me out a little early then we had to wait on mommy. After church we had Chinese food and I almost slept through lunch since I had stayed awake for church. I woke up at the last minute and ate some chicken, lo mein, and jello. A quick trip to the grocery store and then back home. We went for a really long walk last night. The weather was so nice. Still haven't really had "winter" that everyone keeps talking about. It was yucky rainy today when I went to school though. Well gotta run.

Happy Birthday Mommy!!

As most of you already know, yesterday was mommy's birthday. So last night daddy and I took her to get some dinner at Beef O'Bradys right up the road. We went a little late because she wasn't feeling all that great when she got home from work. But we had a great time, I ate like a champ and stayed awake to take a bath when we got home. I played for a few minutes then I took a small bottle and slept great. I cried a little before they went to bed but I had gotten cold so they had to get out my bigger blanket and then I didnt want to get out of bed this morning. Me and Curious George like to sleep all warm and cozy. Plus last night mommy caught me on the phone video saying Dadadada... and pics of my teeth. Daddy had to send it to Uncle Chris to let him hear me. Adults are amazed by the littlest things,lol.

Happy New Year

This is the beginning of a new year and I am learning more and more everyday. Last week when I was home with Daddy he and I worked on walking. I can now walk all over the house with him holding my hands. I still don't have this balance thing down. Crawling seems like such a waste of time to me. I can roll where ever I need to go until I can walk on my own. My Christmas toys are so much fun. When we get home today I get to play with them more before bed. I slept like a big boy last night, but I fought it hard before finally giving up after Daddy walked me forever. Mommy took some pics of me yesterday in my new clothes and one of me in my highchair on Saturday. I was still in my pj's. And I was eating a sucker, it wasn't all that exciting.
